The Class of 2021 Will Paint These Rocks!!!
Rest assured that we are working with the higher-ups to plan “The Painting of the Rocks” event once we return to school in the second semester. Of course, all safety precautions will be taken. So hang in there Class of 2021. The tradition will continue!

Senior Planning
Day: Will
be rescheduled during 2nd semester if PSAT Day runs
While all the other
grades take the PSAT, seniors are visiting colleges, organizing information
needed/applying to colleges and/or researching careers and making contacts for
their future plans.

SENIOR PICTURES
The appointment cards were mailed out on 10/29/20 to senior families by the Lifetouch company and should have already arrived in the mail.
IF you have received your appointment card, please follow the directions to set up your appointment ASAP.
IF you have NOT received an appointment card, please log onto the www.PrestigePortraits.com website and use the "locate your school" link and go in that way.
Unfortunately, no walk-in or unconfirmed appointments can be accommodated.

Exams: MSDE
will provide an updated state assessment schedule

AP Exams: Should run on time if schools are
reopened but if not, we assume college May 3-15 board will use online exams like they did last May.

senior that has met their financial obligations

6 tickets
for graduation. This number is based on the total number
tickets
that Towson University provides to us.
-Everyone who enters
must have a ticket, including infants.

Graduation Requirements Beyond the Normal Course Work
State Exams:
-Seniors must take the 2 HSA’s: MISA Science &
Government & the 2 MCAP exams in Algebra 1 and English 10. Seniors must
either have passed the exams or successfully complete the bridge plans offered.
However, MSDE has waived the requirement for any of these test classes that
were completed and passed in June 2020. For any seniors who have not passed the
HSA’s & MCAP Exams normally or with the 2020 MSDE Waiver, they will take
the tests in 2nd semester, unless they have successfully completed
the bridge plans before the test dates.
75 Service-Learning Hours:
-Seniors must
complete 75 service-learning hours in order to graduate.
Please turn in the
documentation to Ms. Sofinowski no later than ___ TBA.

at 7:00pm at Towson University Tiger Arena

attire must be worn. No flip flops, sneakers or jeans please.
-Cap with
tassel/Gown and chords will be worn
-No admittance into the arena without a
ticket (including infants)
-No
balloons or signs are permitted in the arena
-All
members of the audience must remain in their seats
throughout the
ceremony and recessional.
-Please
hold your applause and refrain from calling out as students
are
awarded their diplomas until the last name is called to ensure
each
student’s name is heard.
-Fire laws
prohibit guests from blocking isles to take pictures.
Pictures
must be taken from your seat.
-A
professional photographer will photograph each graduate as
they
receive their diploma. These pictures can be purchased at a
later
date.
-CDC rules
will be in place
*THE GRADUATION
CEREMONY IS A DIGNIFIED EVENT.
APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR
IS EXPECTED FROM BOTH GRADUATES AND THEIR GUESTS.
Parking Information for Graduation Ceremony
-Parking is in lots
13, 14 and 19 and will require a 5-10 minute
walk or take the shuttle buses.
-Handicapped parking is in Lot 21 only. You must have a
handicap tag to park in this area.
-There will Towson University Security
at all roads checking parking
passes and directing traffic
