Letter to Dulaney HS Senior Class of 2021

Dear Class of 2021,

I hope the first few days of classes went well and that you are settling into your new online learning routine. Let me start out by saying that no one wanted your senior year to start off this way and we certainly hope that things will improve to the point we can all safely return to school and let you finish out your senior year in normalcy. That being said, if we can return to normalcy in the second semester, our goal is to make sure we work to reschedule your special senior events, so you do not miss any traditions such as painting the rocks etc… Of course, we will need to approach these events with safety first in mind. We will work with your class advisors and elected class representatives on all event rescheduling and planning.

For your information there are a few other attachments for you to peruse connected to this email such as a Senior Info sheet that you should refer to for a bunch of information. This sheet will answer many of your questions. I have also attached a Tech Help sheet which you should refer to in the event you have any technology issues throughout the year. Further, there will be at least one secretary and one administrator in the main office of the school every day between 9am to 2pm to assist you in any way we can. As usual, call the school’s main office number at 443-809-7633 if you have any questions or email me at . Of course, reach out to your counselors if you have any issues they can assist you with. All emails and a huge amount of information and regular updates will be posted on the Dulaney website so make sure to refer to that often at .

As we enter our fourth and final year together, I would like to state that you are by far the best senior class I have ever had the pleasure to lead. It should be stated that Dulaney HS is ranked as one of the top 400 high schools in the nation and certainly one of the tops in the State of Maryland, google it. We have a wonderful faculty and staff that care for you and are amazing teachers that work hard to challenge you. However, this success is in large part due to the fact that Dulaney area families recognize that education is the key to opening doors of choice and direction for your future. With this in mind, please thank your family for providing you these wonderful opportunities and make the most of your senior year. It cannot be overstated that some of the choices you make throughout this year will determine the direction of your future. It is scary and wonderful all at the same time so take some to really think, talk options with your family and plan your future direction.

Only 165 school days to go and it will go fast. We are all an email away for anything you need.
