Wed, 04 Nov 2009 05:53 EST

Dulaney High School has been named by Newsweek Magazine and the Washington Post as among the top six percent of public high schools in the nation for 2009. Dulaney and eight other Baltimore County high schools which earned this distinction in 2009 represent more than a third of all Baltimore County public high schools.

Consistent with the Baltimore County Public Schools Blueprint for Progress, Dulaney High School has demonstrated continuous progress in expanding all students' access to highly rigorous courses. This effort is evident in the strong participation by students at Dulaney High School in Advanced Placement courses and Advanced Placement exams.

The Board of Education of Baltimore County expresses to Principal Patrick S. McCusker its congratulations and gratitude for his services and the services of the entire staff at Dulaney High School.
