News for the Class of 2018

Senior Prom
- Friday May 18, 2018 from 7-11PM
- Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel
- Tickets are $55 a person
- Tickets will be sold on the following dates during lunch shifts and after school
-Wednesday April 18- Friday April 20 in the library during lunch and after school until 2:30PM
        - Monday April 23 - Friday May 11 outside the classic cafeteria during all lunch shifts and after school, in the library, until 2:30PM
- Guest forms are required  for all Non-Dulaney High School students.  Guest forms can be found on the senior board, in the front office, and the library.  If you need a form emailed to you, please email Mrs. Sofinowski at asofinowski@bcps.org

Graduation

  • Tuesday May 29 at 7:00pm at Towson University SECU Arena
  • *Seniors must arrive by 6:00pm 
  • Parking is in lots 13, 14 and 19 and will require a 5-10 minute walk or take the shuttle buses. (See attached map)
  • Handicapped parking only lot is in Lot 21. You must have a handicap tag to park in this area.
  • Proper attire must be worn. No flip flops, sneakers or jeans please.
  • Cap with tassel/Gown and chords will be worn
  • No admittance into the arena without a ticket (including infants)
  • No balloons or signs are permitted in the arena
  • All members of the audience must remain in their seats throughout the ceremony and recessional.
  • Please hold your applause and refrain from calling out as students are awarded their diplomas until the last name is called to ensure each student’s name is heard.
  • Fire laws prohibit guests from blocking isles to take pictures.
  • Pictures must be taken from your seat.
  • A professional photographer will photograph each graduates they receive their diploma. These pictures can be purchased at a later date.

*THE GRADUATION CEREMONY IS A DIGNIFIED EVENT.

APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR IS EXPECTED FROM BOTH GRADUATES AND THEIR GUESTS.

Grad Gala

  • Location: Maryland State Fair Grounds
  • May 19th  12:00 AM – 3:00 AM  (immediately following Prom)
  • You must arrive before 12:30am and present your school ID to enter. This event is free.
  • Open to all Dulaney Seniors and their prom dates.  (you do not need to attend Prom to attend Grad Gala)
  • Casual attire

  • Parents: If you would like to be a part of the Grad Gala committee or volunteer please email Kristen Sheppy. There are many volunteer opportunities.
  • The Grad Gala is an after Prom event that is dedicated to keeping our kids safe and off the streets. It is sponsored by parent volunteers, local community members and local businesses.
  • We need everyone’s support, including families from all grades. We especially like to get volunteers from not only the senior class but also the junior class. It is a very busy night and our senior parents would like the opportunity to take pictures and be available for their seniors’ pre-prom events. So please, anyone interested in helping out let us know.
