Network Administration and Design gives students opportunities for hands-on experience in the modern work place using the latest technology available. Upon graduating, students may continue their studies at technical schools, and two or four year colleges.
Learn to design, build and maintain computer networks. Use a hands-on approach to critical thinking and problem solving in a practical, technically and academically challenging, career-oriented program.
Dulaney High School has taken the lead in preparing students for careers in the field of Network Administration and Design. Vast changes have occurred in industry as well as every day life, brought about by computers, digital communications, and a worldwide economy. This has created new jobs and careers that never existed before. The Network Administration and Design program is designed to open the doors of opportunity for students who qualify and take the rigorous program to prepare for a well-paying career in the Information Technology (IT) sector. Many students who are interested in majoring in Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, complete the two year program prior to attending a two or four year school.
