Mu Alpha Theta

Math Honor Society

Math Club/Mu Alpha Theta is Dulaney’s Chapter of the National Math Honor Society. Members must have at least three years of high school math or equivalent including Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. Members attend bimonthly meetings held on Fridays after school and compete in several venues including the Maryland Math League, Baltimore County Math League (three consecutive year 1st place winners), Johns Hopkins Mathematics Tournament, American Mathematics Competition (AMC), Moody’s Mega Math Challenge and The American Regions Math League (ARML).

Maryland Math League

Maryland Math League contests are held in rooms 317 and 319 from 2:30 to 3:00. They are open to all math students who want to compete in this statewide contest. Contests consist of 6 questions within a 30 minute time period.
