Sponsor: Ms. Amanda Lattimore (alattimore@bcps.org)What are the Dulanians? We are a service club, chartered to ease the transition of students who are new to Dulaney High School. We help at all freshman orientations. We also give tours to new students and assist with many special events, such as Back to School Night, Parent Orientations, Spotlight on Dulaney, and more.
Through Dulanians, you can earn service hours for the Service Learning Graduation Requirement and also for the National Honor Society. Participation in Dulanians also looks great on resumes for jobs and college applications. While these benefits are nice for our members - our main hope is that our Dulanians enjoy the satisfaction of meeting and helping people.
If you would like to join, you must be in grade 11. You must also attend all training sessions. We accept new members in the spring semester.

Heritage Yearbook

Heritage means something that is passed down from preceding generations, such as a tradition. At Dulaney High School, the Heritage Yearbook staff is responsible for upholding traditions throughout the school. Each year, new and exciting things happen that are documented in the yearbook. This full-color yearbook captures everything from sports to fashion, cars to clubs, and dances to academics. The Heritage also covers different traditions that Dulaney has including the Senior Barbeque, Sports Night, Homecoming, Spirit Week, and Prom. The Heritage sells out extremely quickly, so purchase your copy today!
Numerous hard-working staff members produce each edition of the Heritage thus carrying on the legacy. The staff is split up into separate sections: design, copy, photo, and personals. Teamwork unites the staff as one and helps them to produce an award-winning yearbook each year. Students wishing to join the yearbook staff will register in late winter to take Yearbook class the following school year.

Sponsor: Ms. Caitlin Cavanagh (ccavanagh@bcps.org)The purpose of the NHS is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of Dulaney High School. Membership is an honor bestowed upon a student. Selection for membership is by a Faculty Council and is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Once selected, members have the responsibility to continue to demonstrate these qualities. Identification of candidates begins with the release of first semester report cards. Students who have attended Dulaney High School for at least one semester and who are members of the sophomore, junior, or senior class are eligible to be considered for membership.
